On July 28, the Chengdu Universiade will kick off, and preparations for the competition have entered the sprint stage.
FISU officials, technical chairmen and Universiade specially appointed experts fully affirmed the preparatory and
organizational work and believed that the conditions for holding the main competition have been met. Chengdu will
go all out to do a good job in various tasks, and strive to present to the world a sports event with Chinese characteristics,
highlighting the style of the times, and showing the charm of Bashu.

At present, all 49 venues of the competition have been completed, including 13 newly-built venues and 36 renovated venues.
The functional hardware and service software of the venues all meet the international competition standards, and the newly-built
venues all meet the two-star green building standard. The Universiade Village is located in Chengdu University. Relying on the
existing campus and construction and development plan, 22 single buildings such as life service center, medical center, international
education exchange center, and training building will be newly built. After the game, it will be handed over to Chengdu University for use.
