It has improved the level of aquaculture technology, created an excellent aquatic product production environment, and cracked the problem of traditional aquaculture “relying on the sky to eat”. After the project is fully completed and put into operation, it is expected to produce 3 million kilograms of South American white shrimp annually, and achieve an annual output value of 150 million yuan. “Digital breeding of South American white shrimp, the average annual yield of 90,000 kilograms per mu, is 10 times that of traditional high-altitude pond farming, traditional soil pond farming 100 times.” The person in charge of Yuanfang smart Fishery Future farm said that digital farming also uses ecological principles to transform and improve farming methods, reduce the discharge of residual bait and excrement, and reduce the pollution of the agricultural environment. In recent years, Ningbo has taken the improvement of agricultural total factor productivity as the main direction, and the installation transformation, digital empowerment, and scenario-based application as the starting point, to cultivate and expand the smart agriculture industry in an all-round way, and continue to enlarge the first-mover advantages of digital economy and smart agriculture. Up to now, the city has built a total of 52 digital agricultural factories and 170 digital planting and breeding bases, and the city’s digital rural development level has reached 58.4%, ranking at the forefront of the province.
