MDR2184 is a wireless measurement and control terminal (RTU) that uses GPRS/4G wireless network remotely acquisition analog and digital signal and control relay.
MDR2184 is an all-in-one cost-effective solution with built-in industrial-grade GPRS/4G module and embedded processor, which realizes field data acquisition /wireless data transmission /remote control.

Support script programming
MDR2184 supports script programming, and users can customize scripts. It does not require an additional controller or data center to issue instructions and directly connect to the instruments, actively collect data, and upload it to the data center.
Data of up to 20 instruments can be collected, greatly reducing hardware costs. The reporting logic of DI (Switch signal) and the control logic of DO (relay output) can be defined in the script.

Before using the MDR2184 RTU, the user should configure the working parameters of it appropriately. The operation processes as following:
1,When the RTU is powered on, the SYS indicator flashes, indicating that the RTU has started to work.
2,Connect the RS232 serial port cable.
3,Start the RTU/RTU Config Tool (when using the configuration software for the first time, please read the operating instructions of the configuration software).
