According to a post on the official WeChat account of China’s BeiDou Satellite Navigation System, the “National Agricultural Machinery Operation Command and Dispatch Platform” was officially launched recently. The platform has successfully completed data extraction from nearly ten million agricultural machines across 33 provinces nationwide and has accessed a vast amount of agricultural machinery equipment information and location data. During its trial operation phase, nearly a million agricultural machines equipped with BeiDou terminals have been successfully connected.
It is understood that the National Agricultural Machinery Operation Command and Dispatch Platform employs advanced information technologies such as BeiDou, 5G, the Internet of Things, big data analysis, and large-scale model applications, enabling the tracking of agricultural machinery locations, understanding of machinery status, and dispatching of machinery across the country.
The platform is an agricultural machinery information system that integrates functions such as real-time monitoring of agricultural machinery locations, calculation of agricultural operation areas, situation display, disaster warning, scientific dispatch, and emergency support. In the event of extreme natural disasters or other emergencies, the platform can swiftly conduct data analysis and resource allocation, thereby enhancing the emergency disaster relief capabilities of agricultural machinery.
The launch of this platform undoubtedly provides strong technical support for China’s agricultural modernization process and offers more efficient and intelligent management tools for agricultural production.
